We are most grateful to Antoine and Pascale for their wonderful welcome and for the expert tuition in the game of boule last night!
The Gîte has been a great base to visit this part of France. The weather has been very hot, so we have been swimming in the sea, in Lac du Salagou and in a couple of places on the river l’Herault. This is a wonderful, peaceful setting with a lovely village nearby.

After a year’s delay thanks to Covid-19, we finally made it to APITV and we are so glad we did. It’s a beautiful spot in a gorgeous area and the gîte is so well-equipped. It was perfect for our week’s stay. Pascale and Antoine couldn’t have been kinder, particularly over the issue of a leaking fuel pipe in the car, when they were absolutely fantastic. Thank you both so much and for the figs, tomatoes, courgettes and cucumbers as well as the wonderful wine and fig jam on arrival. We’d love to visit again and see more of this beautiful part of France – health and Covid permitting.

Many thanks for your hospitality. We have really enjoyed our week. For us the weather probably stopped us exploring the village, but the upside is that we probably saw some of the sights further away: Pezenas was good as was Marseillan and its Noilly Prat ( Marseillan special vermouth), Aigues-Mortes too. Lovely pool, views ans hosts.

Well here we are on the last night of our two week stay (our 4th ) – yet again we don’t know where the time has gone to. Safe to say we have had a very relaxing time in the sun, reading a lot, as well as making good use of the pool. Finally made it up to the Castle – not much there – make impressive from a distance, but the view is worth the stroll up the hill. Visited our favorite haunts of Pezenas (Saturday market), Saint-Guilhem-le-Desert and Meze (les saveurs de Thau is good venue
for lunch – next to harbour). Yet again we have valued Pascale and Antoine’s hospitality never had as many fresh figs !

This is our 7 th visit to APITV and we have enjoyed it again, if not more so. It has been very hot this year, so we’ve just “chilled” and stayed local. We’ve enjoyed walking through the vineyards and to the Castellas. We really enjoyed a beer at Arboras at lunchtime ! The market at Clermont-L’Herault is a must (as ever) along with a couple of meals at La Terrasse de Mimosa. A word of warning – the lunchtime menu stops at 1:30pm, we got caught out. Finally, thanks to Pascale for her hospitality (Antoine was working away in Nigeria), for the figs and for teaching us how to play Petanque !
Hopefully we will see you again soon.

Our first APITV visit- Thanks to Pascale for making us so welcome. We arrived in the middle of a heat wave and have spent a gentle week dipping in and out of local towns and travelling further afield to Nimes and Montpellier. We loved Saint-Guilhem-le-Desert and la Couvertoirade and enjoyed the morning marlet (Wednesday) at Clermont-L’Herault. The heat converted us to be rosé drinkers and we have enjoyed evening meals on the terrace under a blue sky and with super views. Many thanks for a wonderful week.

It is our first visit to APITV and we are not disappointed that we chose it. What a marvellous view from the terrace and wonderful hospitality from Pascale (Antoine was away on business). We had several days out (La Couvertoirade, les grottes de Clamouse, Bouzigues and Palavas notably). We love the region and its our third visit and we’ll definitely be back again.
Nice, peaceful and welcoming village which has all you need if you don’t wish to shop further afield. Weather was favourable as usual and we enjoyed watching the electrical storm which fortunately arrived overnight and didn’t spoil our days out

Four visits with Mike and Jo and now Antoine and Pascale. Same warm welcome to this lovely gite with great views and so many gorgeous places to visit nearby, or not so nearby. Our favourites are La Couvertoirade (although on this visit almost everything was closed). Montpellier, Sete,
Marseillan-Plage and the Wednesday morning market at Clermont-L’Herault. This visit we discovered Pezenas and Le Vigan. Don’t miss the Viaduc de Millau. The food at La Terrasse de Mimosa is now superb and we ate there twice in one week. Otherwise we cooked in using the huge array of cooking utensils available. For breakfast we walked into the
village to get our baguette from the boulangerie. What more could you want ? We hope Antoine and Pascale decide to keep the gite in operation but whether or not they do we wish them and their family the very best for their future.

Many Thanks to Pascale and Antoine and Jean-Loup (WIFI savior !!). We have had a great two weeks, despite some exceptional changes in the weather and temperatures in particular !
As this is our second visit to APITV, we soon settled into our relaxing routine, taking full advantage of the excellent cuisine – highlights being le Mimosa in Montpeyroux, Mas Cambounet fantastic quality and excellent value in a great setting and Le Chateau de Lunas all of which prouded great accompanying wines.
The scenery in this area offers something for everyone whether your preference is the beach or the winding roads in the foothills of the Massif Central.
Pascale and Antoine have taken on some big shoes to fill in Mike and Jo and were sure they’ll rise to the challenge and take APITV on to the next level. Lovely, friendly family – we wish you every success and enjoy your return to Montpeyroux.
Thanks for the delicious figs !

Our third visit to this lovely gite in this lovely village. The pool is my favourite part of the holiday – managed 2km/day to offset all the amazing wine and cheese. Love the local shop and bakery; so friendly Jean-Loup looked after us very well.
Thank you.

We were made very welcome by Selene. All the essential items were provided. The apartment was clean and comfortable. The people in the village restaurants and shops were friendly and helpful. An enjoyable stay.
